Pressure Distribution Analysis

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. Objective

This technical note presents additional external shapes load due to aerodynamic of the NC212-200 TWA (Trans Wisata Air).

The TWA is a modification of the basic aircraft (NC212-200) which is equipped with external configuration. There are only two items of the external configuration that will be taken into account such as Bubble Window and GPS Antena.

1.2. Scope

The basic aerodynamic pressure distributions on the additional external shapes are evaluated by using VSAERO program. The critical case (maximum value of dynamic pressure) is selected and then feed into VSAERO as a flight condition.

Section 2 presents reference axis and sign convention, geometrical data, method of analysis, and cases selection. Section 3 presents the analysis results.
